Baram Synagogue

Barama Synagogue at Kfar BaramBy the Byzantine period, the center of the Jewish population in the Land of Israel had moved north to Galilee. The Baram Synagogue dates from this time and is one of the country’s most ancient Jewish houses of prayer and assembly. It’s one of the best preserved ancient synagogues and is located in a beautiful pine forest close to the northern border.
