Western Wall

Western Wall Jerusalem Holiest Jewish SiteThe Western Wall is the holiest accessible place on earth for the Jewish People. It represents the collective memory of a nation for more than 2,000 years. The Wall was part of Herod the Great’s vast expansion of the Second Temple. It was built to support the western side of the Temple Mount and is the only fragment of the Second Temple to survive the Roman destruction.

Visiting the Western Wall on Mondays and Thursdays is a special treat when you can see the bar mizvah ceremonies of young boys from Israel and abroad.
